AI Building (Spare Time)
- Exploring AI applications in enterprise process automation and productivity tools.
- Designing and prototyping AI-powered solutions applying automation principles to real-world problems.
Program-level thinker with hands-on delivery. Focused on meaningful impact—from utility-scale automation to helping teachers get their time back.
Currently: Operations Lead at Capco for a US electric utility + building multiple AI projects (started June 2025) while exploring AI applications in enterprise process automation (started April 2025).
I'm Seung—a consultant turned builder who's spent 18+ years solving problems in tech. My mindset is Kaizen: always learning, always improving, hopefully not solving the same problem twice, and working toward more challenging problems.
Currently leading an RPA program at Capco for a US electric utility, focusing on automating critical processes within the heavily regulated energy sector—where reliability, compliance, and operational efficiency are paramount. The scale demands robust governance, risk management, and cross-functional coordination across operations, customer service, and regulatory reporting.
Building multiple AI-powered projects simultaneously—a SaaS prototype, agentic pipelines, and other experimental tools (started June 2025)—while exploring AI foundations through hands-on application (started April 2025). Experimenting with ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, and modern development tools—not claiming expert status, but applying what I learn in real projects and getting hands-on fast.
Balancing the digital world with real-world experiences and personal well-being:
Building AI that helps people while respecting our planet and humanity—useful, accountable systems over hype or vibes 🙄
Thinking back at my Contemporary Issues in Computer Science coursework circa 2005, the topics we covered—automation, ethics, AI, and societal impact—feel more relevant than ever. Every AI company needs to establish their own constitutional framework. Transparency in AI values isn't optional; it's essential for building systems we can trust.
My goal is to build brilliant AI that actually helps people—without torching the planet or our humanity. I'm optimistic about AI's upside, and wary of a future where a few capture the gains while everyone else (and the environment) pays the bill. I favor useful, accountable systems over hype. If that's your lane, let's talk.
Guiding question: How do we use AI to create a better future for all—sustainably, fairly, and with real utility?
I'm actively deepening my AI foundations while continuing to build. The goal: demonstrate practical skills across LLM integration, open-source model deployment, and production-ready AI features.
Focus: Build useful, ethical, and production-ready AI systems — with visible, working projects along the way.
